What is the Cost Control Module?  Payroll is most often the single largest consumer of a hotel's revenues. Datavision's Payroll Control module is designed to provide the hotel's department heads with maximum control over their payroll dollars by delivering crucial operational information in a highly informative graphical format first thing each morning. The module automatically extracts detailed payroll data on a daily basis from the time clock system by department, position and by pay code. Additionally, punch edits are also recollected every day to ensure that the data is accurate as possible.

The system can also combine the labor data for each department with that department's revenue and rooms/covers information, obtained from the PMS, to generate productivity reports that can be of tremendous value in making daily decisions. These reports can be customized by property to show hours and dollars, productivity figures such as cost % revenue, cost per occupied room and cost per cover, etc. all compared to budget, forecast and last year. Reports can also be customized by area and delivered to each department head on demand. Controllers and hotel managers can view summarized data for the property, drilling down to specific departments, if necessary.
