In addition to the key data required for flash reporting, the system extracts richly detailed information from the PMS every day:
  • market segmentation, booking source, channel
  • room type, room number
  • packages, rate codes, Guest geography
  • travel agency and group business, etc. 

All this information is extracted for the past and for the future, allowing DVEnterprise to present a complete picture of the property’s past performance and future business on the books. The future look ahead is particularly important, since it allows the system to automatically generate pickup and booking pace reports that are normally extraordinarily time consuming to create.

In order to better understand property’s revenue distribution, the system also analyzes posted revenues and delivers a comprehensive profile of guest spending patterns on room revenue vs. recreational revenue (Golf, Spa, F&B, etc.)

Patterned on Datavision’s Revenue Management Module for Rooms, Datavision’s Spa/Golf Revenue Management Module will allow users to apply revenue management principles to other departments such as Spa, Golf, Tennis, etc.

Every day, DVEnterprise extracts detailed historical as well as future business on the books information for spa bookings, golf tee times, etc. Information extracted include:

  • Date of activity

  • time of day

  • location (golf course, tennis court, massage room, etc.)

  • Service code (9 hole, 18 hole, spa service type, etc.)

  • Restrictions (member only, etc.)

  • Available inventory, guest count, rounds, revenue,  etc.
